Publish your public documents without exposing your system

Under the Public Information Act, public bodies must keep a public document register. Webware’s ADR module publishes it for you.

Only the documents and fields you mark as public are copied to a separate public server.

PROBLEM

Publishing documents shouldn't expose your system

Public bodies have to make certain documents available to everyone. But putting your live system on the open internet invites bot traffic and risk.

Sharing files by email instead means you lose track of what's exposed.

SOLUTION

Show only what's public on a separate, locked-down server

Public Secure Share (ADR) is an extra modul for Webware.

You decide which document types, entries and fields are public. Webware copies only those to a separate public server. Nobody can log in there, and data only flows one way: out.

Your working system stays in your internal network.

"Super convenient solution for the public sector"

How does Public Secure Share (ADR public) work?

1. Set the rules, then mark each document

Admins decide which document types, entries and fields can be public. When registering a document, users choose any access restriction and its legal basis. The legal basis sets how long the restriction lasts.

2. Webware mirrors only public data

Once a day, Webware sends only the public entries and files to the public server.
That server can’t reach your network.

3. The public sees the register

Anyone can view the register on the public server.
Your working system stays hidden and safe

Why use Public Secure Share?

Meet your legal duty to publish documents, without opening your system to the internet.

Meet disclosure obligations

Provide the public document register that the Public Information Act requires of public bodies.

Keep your working system protected

Your live environment stays inside your network or behind a VPN; only data you've marked public ever leaves it.

Secure: Less to attack

Even if someone breaks into the public server, they find only public information. Never your internal documents.

Bots don’t slow you down

Bots and search engines use the public copy, not the system your team works in.
